Russia’s St Pete car plants' May output falls 7% to 23,100 vehicles

ST. PETERSBURG, Jun 22 (PRIME) -- The output of car plants located in St. Petersburg, of Hyundai, Nissan, and Toyota, decreased 7% on the year to 23,100 cars in May, analytic agency Auto-Dealer-SPb said in a statement on Wednesday.

In January–May, production of cars at plants in St. Petersburg fell 18% on the year to 102,900 units.

The St. Petersburg plants accounted for 23.7 of all cars produced in Russia in January–May.
